About Me

Almost 30 years ago, I joined the United States Navy (Submariner), looking for a life of adventure while finding who I was as a person. During that time, I came to appreciate and honor the men and women who serve this country.

While my story in the military lasted a short four years, my adoration for those serving, or served, only grew. The second part of my work life found me doing contract work for the federal government, trekking lands around the world. In many of those lands, I was fortunate to work hand-in-hand with many that were actively serving in the military. 

As I departed that world, I knew my work with those stepping up to protect this country would not end. Creating Tip of the Spear Publications is focused on helping military members tell their stories, and they have some amazing ones to tell. 

This business isn't only for those who served, as I want everyone to have the opportunity to show the world their respective talents, but I have a focus on helping those who stepped up to be the best of the best this country has to offer.
